Level pads, fire rings, and a clear view of the stars. No hookups, no glamping decor, and if you're lucky...no internet connection. Enjoy the simple escape only nature can bestow.
Surrounded by Douglas fir, western red cedar and ferns, enveloped by the sound of the rushing waters of the Wild & Scenic Cascade River.
In the evenings follow the glowing embers of your campfire as they rise toward an endless canopy of stars. Wake to the aroma of fresh coffee, the sizzle of breakfast, and another unhurried morning in the forest.
Stay at camp and relax or make our sites your basecamp to explore the endless wonders of the American Alps. Cascade Pass and Pacific Crest Trail hikes are minutes away. Visit Washington Pass overlook on your drive to the old west town charm of Winthrop. Fish the Skagit River and Baker Lake. Follow the migration of Bald Eagles in January. Take in the magnificent views of Ross and Diablo Lakes.

Tent Site with Gazebo
Surrounded by ferns and moss cascading from old growth, this site offers a large gazebo and table to enjoy gatherings. It provides room for up to three smaller tents.
Tent or RV Site
Solitude is at the heart of this sanctuary sheltered by cedars and surrounded by whispering alders. This emerald gem offers RV parking and ample tent space.

Before you arrive
Tent or shelter, sleeping gear, drinking water, food stored in wildlife-safe containers, firewood, and garbage bags to pack it out. Propane firepits can be brought and used during burn bans. Gas stations and stores in Marblemount offer ice, groceries, camping supplies and propane.
Our tent and RV sites are primitive. A bathroom with flushing toilet and water is a five minute walk from the sites. Non-potable water is available at each site for hand-washing and extinguishing campfires.
Just over two hours from Seattle or Vancouver, BC. After leaving I-5, enjoy travelling an hour on the North Cascade Highway. Rated one of the most scenic drives in America. The camp is just ten minutes past Marblemount, The Gateway to The American Alps. Detailed directions and gate instructions are shared after booking through Hipcamp. Cell phone coverage is spotty. Print directions or plan accordingly for loss of navigation services.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leash. Please pick up after your companion and keep them close at night when wildlife is active.
